ERIC
O SULLIVAN
My work is concerned with the intersection between man and nature and the results it may produce, be it beauty or ruination.
The concrete that lays in a bed of forest, the sky that battles the tower, the dirt path that grooves through the hills. It is these situations that are of interest to me. This relationship and its intricacies, its failures and successes. The argument for progression or preservation.
I rarely wish to show people physically within my photos but rather suggest the idea that “someone was here”. I think this establishes a sense of mystery and starts a sort of investigation as to what has happened within the photo.
