Mark Of Death is an ongoing project surrounding the infestation of Borkenkäfer (Bark beetle) in the Rhineland-Palatine area of Germany which has seen their Spruce tree population devastated in the past 7 years. It is reported that Germany has lost over 300,000 hectares of forest since 2018 from this drought instigated infestation. In these photos you will see the damage these tiny bugs leave behind, but also the country's efforts to prevent as well as replant.

The work fabricates itself in the form of photographs, prints and sculptures which track and display the pattern the beetles inflict upon the Spruce trees.
